Dieses Objekt schuf ich vor der Coronakrise.
Mir war danach, ein Objekt aus primĂ€r geometrischen Fragmenten aufzubauen – eine Idee, die ich vor vielleicht 8 Jahren mal in 2 Exponaten verfolgte.
Nun passt dieses Objekt ganz schön in unsere Zeit. Wie so oft, wenn man etwas Abstraktes schafft, bieten sich allerlei Assoziationen.
Das Objekt ist recht schwer. Und schaffte es offenbar, eine Ofenplatte zum Zerbrechen zu bewegen, nicht ohne andere zu brennende Objekte dabei zu beschÀdigen, auch u.a. ein grosses DuoppelwandgefÀss von mir. Das aber nur nebenbei.
Ich mag diese kompositorische Idee, wenn sich Elemente zusammenfĂŒgen und ein grösseres Ganzes dabei schaffen. Ganz im Gegensatz zum abgetragenen Berg ist hier ein Aufbau verzeichnet und gemeint worden. Ein AuftĂŒrmen von unterschiedlichen BeitrĂ€gen, ein ZusammenfĂŒgen, ein IneinanderfĂŒgen, eine bedachte Zusammenarbeit, ein Ganzes. Wie ein Termitenbau fast, aber geschaffen von einem Wesen, dem man gemeinhin das grösste und mĂ€chtigste Bewusstsein der Arten auf der Erde zuschreibt.

I created this object before the corona crisis.
I felt like building an object out of primarily geometric fragments – an idea that I pursued in two exhibits maybe 8 years ago.
Now this object fits quite nicely into our time. As so often when you create something abstract, there are all sorts of associations.
The object is quite heavy. And apparently managed to make a stove top break, not without damaging other objects to be burned, including a large double wall vessel from me. But only by the way.
I like this compositional idea when elements come together and create a larger whole. In contrast to the worn-out mountain, a structure has been recorded and meant here. A piling up of different contributions, an assembly, a careful collaboration, a whole. Almost like a termite burrow, but created by a being to whom the greatest and most powerful consciousness of the species on earth is generally attributed.
