A tiny animal hangs from the flower on the colorful scorpion senna.
Dieses Foto werde ich immer wieder mal als Einleitung benutzen, wenn ich von ganz kleinen Insekten berichte.
I will use this photo as an introduction when I report on very small insects. Because I am particularly interested in these.
Am 6. März gelang mir erneut ein Foto eines Winzlings, der nur durch seine Bewegung als Tier zu erkennen war.
Ein Brenneselblattfloh, etwa 3 – 3,5 mm lang.
On March 6th I managed to take another photo of a tiny creature (Trioza urticae) that could only be recognized as an animal by its movement. It measures about 3 mm.

Papierne Möbiusbänder
Mit Möbiusbändern aus Zeichnenpapier auf gleichfarbigem Untergrund hatte ich vor einiger Zeit experimentiert. Ich finde diese Arbeiten nachwievor spannend und tauche ab und an mal darin ein.
